Remember this? I do. God, it still fills me with nostalgia. The worlds crappiest square wave synth & calculator? Only $70 in 1979 money? Yes!
Lol. Eh. Wobbly notes.
And here’s the original.

Oh, do I ever remember it-though mine was branded a “Realistic Concertmate 200.” My memory may be romanticizing it, but did it have some rudimentary ADSR type controls? The best image I can find is on eBay, and it seems to have ADSR under “Guitar.” I don’t remember how it worked though…
Yeah it does have an adsr, never figured out how to program it but if you want to play with it search “casino vl tone” on android marketplace. It’s not quite the same. Much easier to do glissando on the touch screen but it’s samples not synth so each note has the same attack.
Just a bit of a hobby I used to have - and I need to get back to at some point.
Nothing hardware related - all my music is done on computer using a freeware application called “Buzz” -
This thread doesnt limit you to hardware only music. Most of my stuff is all virtual.
Thats cool.
I’ve just had this weird thought that because this is a hardware based site, and LMNC is purely old-skool hardware - that modern computers and software (although Buzz has been going since the late 90’s) is the “enemy” … making LMNC my nemesis…?
Not serious mind you, otherwise I wouldn’t be posting here, or chatting on the live-streams
Yeah i getchu. Just so you know, there isnt any hardware/software snobbery here.
As requested by @Maxhirez
Here is a little demo of the Zoom MS-50G
I will up another video sometime going over the pedal more in depth when I have a day off…
I get home at night time so recording is difficult. (Apt. Complex)
It is a wild pedal and would be a great addition to anybodies studio!
Well I played a bit tonight and came up with some grooves before bed. Hope y’all enjoy. I’ll definitely be doing tons more with my Kaossilator pro+.
Nice one! Who knew it could do that?
my first recording patch (31 déc. 2019), before i got my beatstep pro, with only the 8 step keyboard sequencer and S&H to try to make melodies
other modules from Sam build : 2 x VCO CEM, 2 x MS20 VCF, Safety Valve, 2 x ADAR, and the big button for all my drum modules
My daughter’s Pionus parrot loves that piece.
Like it! Man… So much in this thread… It’s a bit overwhelming. But I’ll go backwards.
In the mean time, I’ll add to the flood. Made most of the drums with Sam’s cr78 samples. It’s not finished. (little too much repetition, melody needs work, needs a better song structure, needs mixing, etc…) But I kinda like where it’s heading.
Edit: Dud, Still listening, and really like it. Feels like I would love to see this worked out in a full set, with a little bit more intensity changes… But tbh… It’s pretty impressive you pulled this off with an 8-step sequencer and a s&h.
thank you, there’s more recent stuff in this thread,
for the sequencer i add a switch to change cv 1 to cv2 when i’m playing so i can prepare 2 ligne before
yours good sound too
How do you like Clyp so far, @Jokke? It looks like it’s fairly similar to SoundCloud in features. Most of us are probably coming close to that 3 hour limit over there on the basic packages too-and it looks like Clyp lets you have 6 hours for free.
I’m not on soundcloud, yet. So I can’t really compare. But yes, you get 6 hours. As a community, I feel none. So don’t do it to get a following or even to find other artists. Soundcloud, at least from the outside, looks more social. Just an easy way to upload and share on other platforms. I started using it, to be able to post audio in facebook groups. (I think it’s a wonder facebook doesn’t have that function…)
Im ok with lack of social, soundcloud is trash and full of bots anyways.
