get a Volca sample, and trigger it from the dtx through midi
*** actually that’s a bad idea unless you can assign pads from the DTX to different midi channels (which the Volca sample needs, as it’s sample per channel design would require)

Someone made a midi cable with firmware that fixes this for the sample, if thats whats desired.

and it’s not just for the Sample, you can load various ‘scripts/firmware’ to change it’s behaviour and connectability to a number of different devices,
I believe that you can program it yourself, but I haven’t investigated that yet!
