Module For Powergloves/Gyros pressure sensors what not

so I was about to build another interface for my other hand 4 sensors, 5 pin din etc.

figured it would take the same amount of time to put it together as a Kosmo project. anybody interested?

same thing would work for things like the lightsaber theremin which was exactly the same circuit…

one more knob to the power glove one.

it would be set out like, 4 rows of :-
offset
boost
slew
attenuvert
Cv out (and also a CV in you can mix with with 5pin din input)

5 pin din sends out 5v on central pin and the other 4 pins are the inputs for whatever analog sensors are on the other end. gyro’s, pressure sensors, bend sensors.

its not the only way to interface with these sensors, but its the way I like to do it. so if anyone is remotely interested ill put down the strip board and pick up the blue tac, sharpie, ruler and old computer monitor and get designing (yes thats how I do it, I set everything to 100% scale and design with rulers and knobs and stuff), the idea of doing it in the box makes me feel queasy.

Interfacing with random things is very much Kosmo/LMNC to me, so definitely on-brand

(not entirely sure about 5/180 DIN because MIDI but cannot think of a better connector right now that doesn’t have similar issues, except perhaps other DIN plugs (Tayda has 8-pin DIN, for example). Maybe a “NOT MIDI” label is all that’s needed?).

I think a label of not midi is indeed what is needed. however the central pin of a midi cable is not connected to anything on most items. at least I seem to think so? so even plugging it into a midi synth would be alright. also a second use would be one channel would amplify the midi signal haha. im a fan of the 5pin din as most people building these things have a midi cable lying about, so if sending 5 volt through the centre pin isnt mad.

to be honest it could be another pin. like the 1st pin that isnt connected to anything

OR! just wire the 5v up to the 5v pin to just fit with the midi

yes LMNC aka Sam please build a stripboard or pcb we would love this , also sent u the package today , prob about 12 days to get it . The powerglove project rocks and people the c1 cap in slew is 1 uf .
