I don’t know if this is useful to anyone, but I had a use case for a CC to ascii converter, it takes MIDI CC messages of 1-20 and puts out ascii codes a-t over the USB socket as a HID device. I needed it as I had run out of MIDI messages to send to the Elka-X editor but I knew it would accept key presses to control buttons. So now I can expand the editor to include the sequencer.

I’m looking at a transport controller type unit for days when I’m w.a.f.* and adding a hid to relay keyboard shortcuts adds scope. Cheers.
