Mail Day Thread

UK based. Thanks for the link, but seem to be no luck here. When I follow your URL, I am automatically redirected to the .co.uk site. With this not very helpful message.

I’m sure I will find something that fits, it’s all part of the fun.

Ah, navigating Mouser.

Try this one:

They’re there, really

Resistors, caps, Schottky diodes, TL074/72s, obligatory bag of jack sockets, and some more cable jacks for longer patch leads.

No photo but just received 2 meters of end glow and side glow .5mm and 1mm fibre optic cable for a Christmas project.
No room on the panel for LEDs so looking to fix the fibre to 3 colour led like a vactorol and poke the fibre through a small hole.
I’ve never used the side glow before but I’m hoping it might be useful as a lit up line/border/neon like sign.
Pics of experiments as soon as I’m out of bed and mobile again.

New boards in the post again, This time a panel / pcb swap with @TimMJN, a Evil eye sequencer and a 12 stage phase shifter. At 300mm wide these are the biggest modules I have looked at constructing, I’m looking forward to making these.

Another Rapid order just turned up. With bits to breadboard-a-long to some of @moritzklein’s DIY SYNTH VCF Part 2: Active Filters & Resonance video.

I have a sickness and I can not stop acquiring DIY monosynths in a search for more acid:

Very nice, for the fun just a guess, it’s come from Germany ?
because there are often some candies in their packages.
Some energy for the build

If I were taking the photos, it would have been an empty packet of haribo’s.

I think the guy who manufactured it is actually in Texas, but yes, this came from a web shop in Deutschland. I think I got the last one!

I get to eat them when the thing is actually put together and works! Celebratory victory sweets.

@analogoutput What have you planned for this lot, I see both parallel and perpendicular jack sockets, and PCB and panel mount pots?

Multiple bags of switchgear is obligatory!

Moar big bucks spending. A singular B500K stereo pot…

Several things! I mean, I went and asked my lying spreadsheet “what do I need that I don’t have to build these half dozen modules?” and it said “hoo boy open your wallet”.

(As for what specifically, there’s adaptations of Tom Whitwell’s Electrophone and Barton’s IR Input, and there’s finishing up the NLC Neuron/Difference Rectifier, and the rest is stuff I’m designing.)

(I also need some TL074s I ordered about two weeks ago which USPS tells me are finally in my city so should presumably turn up tomorrow.)

the shipping cost more than part . why I stock up / buy more than I should , I hate when the shipping is more than the parts .

Shipping was free, so not quite sure how the seller is making any money given the cost of P&P… :man_shrugging:
