I bought some 10K slider pots a while back and i’m currently not sure if they came with screws, The build I’m working on is currently using a 1/4" acrylic faceplate that I laser cut, but I’m pretty convinced that the screws wouldn’t be long enough to make it to the slider.
Any suggestions as to where I can find a 1mm machine screw that would be longer than 1/4" or any suggestions as to what I can use as a substitution for mounting the slider pots? Feeling a bit lost here.
Not sure where you’re located…but here in the US I source most of my metric hardware from a combination of McMaster Carr, Amazon, and Banggood.
Amazon is good when I need them quick. Banggood is nice for cheap assortments. McMaster Carr is the best for high quality hardware in larger quantities of a single size and some hard to find sizes. The big risk with McMaster is you don’t know how much shipping is going to cost until they charge you. But they do tend to be fair and quick.
Thanks so much for your replies, I wound up finding some M2 screws in a kit. I was feeling so iffy, only because you can’t ever know how large something is (especially when it’s in mm) through an online picture lol. everything is looking great now!
