I was pulling apart a router in my garage when I found an 8pin IC sitting loose in one corner of the lid. It is marked as an MC34063A. Does anyone recognize it or know what it is for? I imagine it fell out of the router, but I couldn’t find an empty socket. Anything I can use it for?
