I have also earned this badge today. I also have no recollection of flagging any posts, but humbly accept the honor of the badge. 
Me too. My guess is this is a new badge and it’s been retroactively bestowed on anyone who ever flagged a spam post.
One more here. I was also confused. I thought maybe a problem in the verified stripboard thread had somerhing to do with it. But i have no clear memory of participating in any flagging…

Then spent too long checking my activity log to see who I’d offended.
I flagged my post about my flag badge. Felt appropriate.
