That sounds so good! I could play with that for hours.
Here’s my version
Need to take more foto’s of actual finished modules.
The “NIN” is an input for white noise, so i can switch from the internal metal noise generator to plain white noise hihat sounds. Planning on making an extra output from the metal noise generator to feed a snaredrum? Curious how that sounds:grin: or mb i just build another noise module with the metal noise generator in it.
Love the looks of it! The noise input is a very nice idea.. maybe I’ll add this mod to my own version Did you place the input before or after the bandpass filter?
Hi Softek. I connected the input at the same spot as the internal noise generator, so before the 33nf capacitor. Beware that my white noise module has a volume knob. Its possible that your white noise signal is to loud. I used a jack socket with switch function. If no plug is inserted, it uses the internal noise. When jack is plugged in, the internal noise output will be disconnected.
I don’t think there is a 33nf capacitor, but you probably mean the 330pf from the bandpass circuit (Moritz denotes it as .33n in his schematic drawing). Wouldn’t make much sense to choose this spot as an input though..
I’ll just give both versions a try to see if the white noise source can profit from the bandpass or not
Hi, ok so the 33nf should be an 33pf? Just let me know where you added the extra input when you finished. There is always new things to learn.
I checked the schematic quick and i do see a 100pf before the 100k indeed. Maybe i mixed another schematic my bad sorry.
