It’s interesting times.
DO YOU NEED HELP…
I am a time served IT Pro, and if you ask me for help I may be able to assist in these unusual times… but desktop stuff was 20 years ago for me mainstream… I can still Skool our helpdesk boys but generally my work is much more specialised. But you can always ask…
Cars though, if you have an issue, if you have been bamboosled by the garage, then I can offer a bit of help. There are lots of great Marque specific forums but sometimes they can be a bit daunting…
Anyway…
Ask a question, ask for translation, if I can, I will do what i can…
but if your Win10 pc is slow… Install linux Mint and learn a new skill and enjoy hardware without windows overload…
Cheers

I usually run CentOS, ive done a few Ubuntu based distros though, what draws you to Mint? (Have to use Windows for non dev work cause you cant beat compatibility sometimes.)
Started on Redhat, Moved to Mandrake/mandriva, then SLES/SLED, ubuntu and then mint.
I hated the unity desktop on Ubuntu and Mint is fairly well polished for the most part and feels a little less toy like than Ubuntu did. I still use Ubuntu for server builds.
I tried to build a webserver on RHEL in December, but found it did not support a particular very common hosting build. So gave up and had it done on Ubuntu within an hour .
I had to admit defeat when it came to building a DAW and went with windows.
It still surprises me how companies and a lot of their I.T. staff are averse to going down the FREE route. A lot of the arguments against are so lame, and they are happy to move to inferior harder to use online MS products. I am a lone voice in our office.
