Help hooking up this transformer?

Hi there, I just got my hands on this nifty retro 80’s transformer:

I’m planning on using it to power an FC Routemaster, but I’m not too sure how to wire up these funny little contact pins it came with:

The pins are 7mm long and 2mm in diameter. I’ve been looking everywhere for a female crimp connector that would match this but so far nothing’s turned up. The closest thing I could find was a molex connector, which is a bit too small but fits pretty snug if you force it on:

What do you reckon? Have you seen this sort of connection before? Do you think a molex connector would work out or is it too sketchy? (especially for connecting to mains voltage). Is this the complete wrong sort of transformer and I just bought an expensive industrial paperweight?

All replies much appreciated

Cheers! -George

Thanks mate, I’d say that’s definitely what I’m after. I’m having no luck finding the same thing nearby online though, maybe I’ll try some local auto places. Cheers
