Daedelus Presentation/Performance

I found this video inspiring. Daedelus is approaching modular in a very different way than I have, but it feels very natural to me; (though I don’t much anymore, but I used to DJ a lot). He also just seems like an endearing, humble, approachable person. No matter your approach, I think there’s something you’ll take away from this one:

This is so good. I could listen to them talk all day.

He needs a larger format. Maybe Kosmo.

Yeah, now we just need a stereo sampler, WAV recorder, etc. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Only 10 minutes in but finding the talk incredibly interesting - thanks for the link @ChristianBloch :+1:

Although she’s not playing with modular kit there’s an interesting parallel between Daedelus and Anna Meredith, who went from classical composer to electronic enthusiast. I’ve seen a talk she did somewhere, but I can’t remember where - I’ll have to have a dig because she’s just as interesting. And Nautilus is an insane, avant garde piece that I hated when I first heard it and loved by the end of first hearing it :grinning:
