I don’t know. It sounds awful to me. I just don’t know why. I found my ears waiting for the rare intervention of that blue synth to his right.

I never heard a Moog I didn’t like. Perhaps I should try a blind listening test, though.

Incidentally I looked up the blue synth and it seems to be this one, Udo Super 6:

Obviously we don’t get to hear much from it, but perhaps I like it because of the warm sounds of the presets he’s using.

I know its vain, but the roland colorful switch caps are just lovely. The Jupiter-8 and the 808 just have a lot of visual appeal to me.

Edit: the “Yamaha piano” I referred to turns out to be their top of the range workstation synth, the Montage.
