I saw Analog Output do a blog post on the Barton BMC078 Infrared modules with mods, I cant seme to find it again ? It was very good and I want to do the same thing with it adding the mods that is.
Here’s the Barton article
And the @analogoutput’s build/article
By the way, I do have extra boards and panels which I’ll put up on Tindie sooner or later.
Hey guys,
Maybe it’s unrelated but it reminds me of a gate generator module I built some time ago while hacking a Chinese IR sensor module.
It’s quite fun to open/closen gates with passing your hand in front of the sensors!
In addition, the trimmer could be replaced by a potentiometer fixed to the panel in order to be able to directly adjust the sensitivity of the sensor.
(sorry I don’t remember where the diagram comes from…)
This IR sensor is available easily and at very low prices on aliexpress or eBay !!
Have fun !
Wonderful!
I do like a quick win project like this.
On the list now and I can take a break from trying to recreate some of your ESP32 audio kit success.
Many thanks @saint_et_moudulard
Edit, pretty sure you could use one of those tiny air pressure modules to do something similar. Experiments!
