AS3340 VCO /w hard/soft sync, FM modulation

will do!

I was getting a lot more consistency in the lower registers actually so considering the HFT aspect, this ‘tracks’ (heh)

reporting back to say that the 10k 24 turn trimpot replacement was a great success :+1::+1:

didn’t have a 20k trimpot however so I used a 50k for the HFT and due to any combination of factors, I notice nothing when turning the pot.

Either way, now we’re tracking across 5 octaves with better-than-expected results! :100:

Absolutely!

I’m sending a constant pitch from the 0-coast oscillator into the sync and FM inputs of the VCO, where the LFO for PWM and all the rest of the modulation is coming from. Reverb provided by my beloved Digitakt.

Very satisfied with this design also. It is everything a VCO needs in a very simple layout. I have an idea in mind to adapt this into a complex oscillator of sorts. The stretch goal is adding TZFM, which I’d heard didn’t work with the 3340 til seeing the OPENCEM3340 project I posted here recently.

Very excited about it, will keep everyone posted!

Sounds great. I’ve been playing with ladder filter designs a lot lately so that ms20 is sounding pretty sweet also
