Has anyone tried buying toroid core inductors from AE?
Ive had good luck with the pre-made modules from AliExpress though I have note purchased this particular one.
There is also the pcm5201 DAC module that’s pretty common, both in availability and use in various projects.

I didn’t know they existed untill they sent me one by mistake, when i actually ordered the 6j1 “tube preamp” (was looking for a mod platform)
The socket and button have been dodgy for some time, but yesterday it stopped working altogether.
Looking for a new one, i see a lot of different versions, some with some extra functions as well.
Does anyone know a nice version?
Edit: would be nice if it has room to add a bnc/banana jacks to connect some test leads

I’ve been using the MK-328 tester for a while and like it a lot. Apart from a component tester it also contains a function generator, a rotary encoder tester and some more stuff which I need to explore one of these days. I bought a couple for the local Repair Cafe only recently. They will help a lot when diagnosing electronics for faults. They are also a great learning tool for people who do not have a background in electronics.

That one looks very nice, i do have a background in electronics (avionics) but i just love how convenient they are. I sometimes have a hard time reading color codes in my poorly lit basement.
