before you order another chip. send the attack pin to ground, try it and then send it to 5v and try it see if anything changes … doesn’t hurt to have 2 chips!! but its more likely something else! but good luck
Yeah, thats okay. The panel is nice and grounded and I the board checked and it seems okay.
Okay, Its working now. Im so stupid. I put the 1k from pin 12 to GND intead of +5V. Ive corrected it now and its workinggggggg. BIG THANKS to DUD and Sam for help. I love you guys.
Happy for you that’s work !
Here’s a dumb error I’m coming across while working this with stripboard:
I have a constant 0.244 mV voltage at the input pins and the input jack with nothing plugged in. This issue also has the input and output LEDs constantly turned on where the momentary trigger switch just barely boosts the voltage (just looking at the input LED). There are no bridged connections checking with a multimeter. If I’m not mistaken, the input should always read 0v (unless otherwise triggered) due to the R14 resistor to ground right?
Didn’t you put a 2N3906 instead of an 2N3904, or upside down ?
That’s definitely possible. I noticed that looking at the data sheet of the 2N3904 that the collector corresponded to pin 1 where pin 1 is allocated to the emitter on the schematic. Looking at just the LEDs - I wired the +12v to the collector (pin 1 on the data sheet). Is that correct?
Yes the collector go to +5V for the input, and to +12V for the led
You’re the man! Apparently that data sheet was leading me astray - everything works perfectly! Thank you
Happy that’s work !
Hello all
Having an issue with mine newly build mini adsr,
plugged the gate out of my arutria keystep into the in of the adsr, and out of the adsr into the vca of the filter, however i seem to be getting the dry signal as well, so when its trigger you can hear the tone but also the envolope filtered one with it aswell.
This could be the way ive patched it or an issue with the module
Any help appreciated
Joe
are you sure of that ?
you test it in a CV filter or in a CV of a VCA ?
on a filter if you want silence between the “pulse”, you need to decrease the Cut off pot
on a VCA you have maybe a pot for the initial level input and a CV for “pulse” to adjust the signal out
Sorry yes, ive got the 1113 filter with the vca which i plugged an out if the adsr into.
Ok, sorry i don’t know this module
No worries at all mate, got a few things to try tomorrow to resolve this issue, hopefully someone else might have an idea because im scratching my head!
It’s a special 1113 performance filter version with a VCA ?
Again my bad, its the 1114 funk filter, got the number mixed up
