Yes already in my demo video, the sound is not very good (old camera ), maybe rather listen in my “modular track” playlist (not in the 1st part it’s a bit old now) for a better sound recording.
But otherwise it is a very very simple module and it would surely require some modifications to be able to also adjust the frequency, but it do the job

There’s also the CMOS noise bell, very versatile

For those interested, a super simple, but effective module, a panel of hyper diversified metalic sounds (hit, snare, bell …) [Noise bell cmos module - sound bender (1)] [Noise bell cmos module - sound bender (2)] Only 2 out of 4 oscillators have a pitch setting (lack of space on this module), the other 2 have a trimmer, but a switch allows you to go from 2 oscillators to 4. the link schematic

Hello, i’m trying to designing a Hi-hat module and for that i want to mix, white noise, and metallic sound. The metallic sound is from here : Logic Noise: More CMOS Cowbell! | Hackaday (multiples square waves mixing through XOR) The white noise is from here : Simple White Noise Generator Circuit Diagram (Simple white noise with non-connected leg’s transistor) The thing is the metallic sound output 8 Vpp and the white noise output 500 mVpp and for mixing them i need them at the same level.
