Using LED in modular synth

That’ll let through maybe 8 µA? That’s still a lot of electrons (4.993×10¹³ per second, to be somewhat precise :grinning: ), so will probably generate at least a little light, but maybe not enough to be visible outside a dark room. I would recommend adding a simple opamp buffer to prevent the inherently non-linear LED circuitry from interfering with the CV voltages.

If I followed you up correctly this is what came in my mind (I’m not sure how well the “1v/oct osc” is represented by just grounding the resistor that should follow the circuit).
