Does a great job of explaining the circuitry of VCOs and DCOs in a way which makes sense to me. It was all voodoo before, but now I feel like I could get more experimental with my own circuit designs.
Anyway, thought some of you might be interested!
Very nice read! I also recommend the video by Golt linked in the article on the same topic. I already thought of creating a DCO based on an Arduino. The hardest part will be the compensation of the amplitude.
Very well laid out article. Loved the animation. I found this a very well broken down and logical explanation of the VCO and DCO design.
