Can you explain a bit what you did to the bee-sample to get to your track?
honestly it’s going to be hard to explain and remember what I did, because I had never done that before this challenge, so it was really in the moment, while snooping that I managed to find sounds more or less interesting. I did not re-export sound and then reworked several times, dirrect with the initial sound in the software.
I isolated a piece of the sample and tried to stretch, detune, equalize, add compression, filters …
since the sample was very close to a white noise, it was simple enough to make the hi-hat, noise and even the snare, but for the kick it was something else and I don’t know how I managed to have an almost kick.
For the melody surely a stroke of luck by sampling a deformed and distorted little piece.
sorry i didn’t have a method so to describe it is difficult.
it was more research than application.
