The micro USB port of my Keystep has been intermittent for some time now, so I thought I’d try and repair and upgrade it at the same time by converting it to USB-C. AliExpress sells these little boards that can be worked into place and soldered to the pads of a micro usb socket position. It’s not perfectly straight, but it works and is reliable.

Oh neat! May as well, That was easily the lamest part about the Keystep and always made me worry about the thing (I loved it, but dang that connector is always scary to use)
