Hi guys
Im building another Thomas Henry VCO555 and im trying to make it as stable as possible in terms of temperature stabilization.
My first VCO555, i soldered both transistors with the flat sides surfaces touching and used heatshrink tube connect them even thighter. On top of the two trannies i’ve put the 2k tempco resistor. I wished the resistor was flat instead of round so the heat from the trannies would transfer better to the tempco. My question is, can i use heat conductive paste to put onto the transistors and put the tempco in it for better heat transfer?
Thanks in advance for your advice
