I’m designing an envelope generator with 2.2M ADR pots and a 10k S pot. The trace in yellow shows the output of the envelope generator with a fairly correct shape but I’m unable to change the shape of the attack and release portion. When I change my potentiometers to set resistor values in SPICE, I’m able to manipulate the output better but i’m still getting little difference in how the attack looks. I’m unsure if it has something to do with the 555 ic timer or if I’m making a mistake in simulation. Can someone familiar with this schematic offer some advice?

I’m not familiar with this kind of ADSR. Where did you pick up that particular schematic? There are a number of different tutorial pages online about 555-based ADSR. Do you know whether you’re using a CMOS 555 or TTL (aka 7555?) I believe the distinction matters in many of these circuits.
