Varying control voltage on the signal generator’s **SWEEP IN** socket modifies the oscillator frequency set on the dial. Gate pulses (attenuated down to 0.5V) on the compressor’s **KEY IN** socket trigger the “expand” mode to articulate each note, with **ATTACK** and **RELEASE** knobs to shape the envelope.
